wow, 3rd day in a row. i'm sure to get sick of this sooner or later. not much happened today really. i realised i was being a bit of a prick at work, so i guess i'll try to calm that down a bit. job search seems to be going ok. i guess you never can tell. should get my good trousers drycleaned in case of an interview though.

today, godsped you black emperor = good. that's like many other days though. i heard a rumour they may tour here sometime soon. oh man i hope that's true.

anyway, i'm reading "the adventures of huckleberry finn" at the moment. it's taking me bloody ages as well. it's not bad though. there are some amazing sections of prose. it really brings to mind a big arse river, and some little raft floating down the middle of it. I especially liked the part (so far) where huck and jim float past the bigger towns, and even at 2 or 3 in the morning, they look like constellations set on the hillside. nice.
i gota top buying second hand books. i have about 5 or 6 lined up at th moment, and one of em is "underworld" by Don DeLilio, which is meant to be this big fuckoff epic. i hope it's easier than gravity's rainbow. i couldn't read that, only got about 1/5 of the way through. crying of lot 49 did my head in though. y'all should read that some time. oedipa mass is quite a character.

fuck, work sucked today. really boring, and i was plagued all day by vague fears that i am going nowhere and doing nothing. one day those fears will all coalesce and my hair will fall out, and so will my teeth. i don't know why, they just will. and just to get this whinge truly off the ground, DEATH TO SMS TALK. 4eva. i neva want 2 c it again.
it just makes me angry, especially when spelling seems to be a dying artform. hmmpf, i guess i can't talk that much.

and today, cLOUDDEAD = good. it's so bleak. and the rappers all have really interesting voices. it seem to have found some really interesting hiphop at the moment.cLOUDDEAD, prefuse-73, the roots, dr. octagon. all of it freaking amazing.
