Low - Drums and Guns
man this is a dark album. Low's melodies and harmonies are as crystalline and luminous as ever, but they've been turned to some of their blackest ends ever. It's a rough juxtaposition. The songs are very very bare of instrumentation. "Dragonfly" is just voice, some backwards masked guitar and an echoing, stuttering drumbeat that sounds like a gunshot reflecting off a hillside.
good album though, but very unsettling.
